What to know first, from Tim.
Reviews are the best way to hear how a stay went. Before you read them, here is what I tell every group before they book, so nothing about the house comes as a surprise:
- The pool is a private saltwater pool, 3 to 6 ft deep, and it isn't heated; there's no hot tub. It's lovely on warm days and cool in the winter months.
- Ventura Boulevard is about a 7-minute walk down neighborhood stairways. The walk back is uphill, and our street has no sidewalk, so most guests drive or take a rideshare in the evening.
- All four bedrooms are upstairs, with beds for 8. Guests 9 and 10 sleep on the two downstairs sofas, which are regular sofas, not sofa beds.
- The house sits at the top of a steep, shared private driveway. Drive all the way up to the garage, and park extra cars on the street.
- It is a quiet street: no parties or events, visitors approved in advance, and quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM.
